Required:

Ohio requires boaters who were born after January 1, 1982 to have an Ohio Boater’s License.

This can be obtained FREE at the following website: http://www.boatus.org/onlinecourse/Ohio.asp

If you have reserved a boat and you are required to have a boater's license you can either get your FREE permanent boater's license through the website above and provide a copy upon your arrival to rent with us OR you can take a short test here before you go boating and that will serve as a temporary boater’s license for the duration of your rental.

Safety Gear:
Jackets (AK-1 style), throw cushion, fire extinguisher, anchor w/line, horn and distress flag are required by law and are for the protection of life in the event of an emergency. They are NOT to be used for ANY other purpose. Any equipment misused will have to be paid for in full.

Watersports Rentals

• Skis/Ski Ropes/Ski Vests: $20/day…$30/multi-day (per pair of skis) Use at your own risk!
• WOW Pro-Thriller 2-person Tube with Rope and Ski Vests: $40/day…$80/multi-day (2 person or up to 250# MAX). Renter is responsible for proper usage. Multi-day tube rental amount may be credited toward PURCHASE of equal or greater value tube if returned undamaged.
• Customer is responsible for any damage done to equipment, including knots in tow ropes.

• INCLUDED: 
• STATE REQUIRED SAFETY GEAR, TIE LINES AND FENDERS. ANY EQUIPMENT THAT IS MISUSED OR DAMAGED WILL BE CHARGED TO RENTER.
• NOT INCLUDED: 
• GASOLINE: TANK IS FULL AT DEPARTURE, REFUELED UPON RETURN AND CHARGED ON A SEPARATE TRANSACTION…ADD’L FUEL IS “PAY AS YOU GO”.
  
• RESPONSIBILITY:  
  • IN THE EVENT THAT YOU DO HAVE AN UNAVOIDABLE UNDERWATER IMPACT, THOSE DAMAGES WILL BE WAIVED ONE (1) TIME ONLY.  ANY FURTHER UNDERWATER DAMAGES WILL BE THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY.  
  • IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY ATTENTION TO ENGINE WARNING ALARMS. 
• CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFE OPERATION AT ALL TIMES, ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF OHIO. ANY DAMAGE DONE TO THE BOAT OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY AND WILL BE CHARGED AT CURRENT REPLACEMENT COSTS FOR PARTS AND LABOR AND DUE IMMEDIATELY UPON RETURN OF THE BOAT.
• UNDERWATER DAMAGE: AVOID UNFORESEEN UNDERWATER IMPACT WITH STUMPS OR LOGS BY STAYING OUT OF MARKED OR VISIBLY SHALLOW AREAS.
• THIS WAIVER DOES NOT COVER AVOIDABLE AND/OR “ABOVE WATER” DAMAGE, SUCH AS TORN SEATS, INCORRECT DOCKING, TIE UP, DENTED PANELS, COLLISIONS WITH OTHER BOATS, DOCKS OR LAKE SHORELINE, ETC.

• Pets: Pets are permitted but they MUST stay on the floor. They are not permitted on the seats. If the boat is excessively dirty due to the pet a cleaning fee may be charged.

Reservation Policy:
**A reservation deposit of $200 is required at time of request. (We do not accept reservations for hourly rentals.)
**Deposit is forfeited if no contact or pick-up by 10:00AM on the day of the rental.
**Deposits can be made in the form of cash or a major credit card - Visa, Mastercard and Discover (We do not accept American Express).
**No personal checks.
**The additional monies due will be charged to the card used to make the reservation up to a week before your rental date.

Cancellation Policy:
**If a reservation cancellation is necessary for any reason, including weather, it must be done by Noon (12:00 PM) the day PRIOR to the date of the rental pick-up. Otherwise, the initial deposit is forfeited.

For weather cancellations ONLY, management may allow (1) reschedule within the same season. Rescheduled rentals may NOT be cancelled without deposit forfeiture.
